In case you didn’t know, Toronto’s Metric will be performing at the Pearl Stable on Monday, April 29. Doors open at 8pm and music starts with Bad Books. The show is free, and that’s the good thing. The bad thing is that registration for the concert, part of Jack Daniel’s “Live at the Landmark” series, is now closed.

But help is on the way — the Current has pairs of tickets for the first three people who answer the Metric trivia question correctly. Note that both winner and guest must be 21+ years of age to participate.

“Hmmm

Let’s see

” singer Emily Haines told the Current yesterday. “Yes, I got it. Here’s a question true fans of Metric should know: What’s the name of the film in which the band performed ‘Dead Disco’?”

So there you have it: the first three people who name the film that featured Metric performing “Dead Disco” get two tickets to see them live at the Pearl Stable. (Emily told us the band will perform a full set)

Write your answer and real name in the comments section below and, if you're one of the first lucky three, bring your ID and pick up your tickets at our office on 915 Dallas St. (corner of Dallas and North St. Mary's). You must be a San Antonio resident. Current employees and relatives can't participate.
