Set to release their comeback album, Hesitation Marks, on September 3 via Columbia, Nine Inch Nails are performing a string of festival shows before embarking on a massive North American Tour in support of the forthcoming LP. Their first festival was a few days ago at Japan's Fuji Rock Festival, your first sneak peek to what you can expect on November 5 at the AT&T Center, the "Tension 2013" concert that will be opened by Explosions in the Sky.
Festival-goers caught some footage or live audio, which includes half an hour of the latter part of their set and two new songs: "Find My Way," and "Copy of A." According to Reznor, the stage set with "smoke, strobe lights, and video screens on wheels" was taken as direct inspiration from Talking Heads' 1983 "Speaking in Tongues" tour.
