Yep. He got away with this.

Kanye West’s Yeezus Tour opened Saturday night in Seattle to rave reviews, but he cancelled his Vancouver show Sunday night “due to unforeseen circumstances.” The Vancouver show was rescheduled for Halloween night.
The “unforeseen circumstances,” I bet, have to do with his upcoming San Antonio debut, scheduled for December 8 at AT&T Center—after winning 21 Grammys and playing everywhere on earth except San Antonio (such a hard nut to crack), the shock of finally coming to the Alamo city must’ve been too much for him. Will he be able to sell out? Will anyone show up? I think people will show up, which makes it even more infuriating. What does a mainstream act have to do to stop by SA?

To AT&T Center’s credit, Kanye’s show comes sandwiched between Drake’s (November 12) and Jay-Z’s (December 20) at the same venue, and even smaller venues like the Korova are bringing people like Jamaica's reggae/dancehall superstar Sizzla on November 10, so I like to think something good's happening inside the head of local promoters.
Kanye’s show is actually a first-class double-header: Kendrick Lamar will open, so get ready and get your tickets ($51.63-$117.69) when they’re up for sale Friday, October 25 at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com or attcenter.com.
