SA's Vetter Kids Release Single, Announce New EP

SA trio Vetter Kids

Having already released their debut EP earlier this year, SA punk trio Vetter Kids announced a new EP, Logan, for an impending October release. Due out October 14 on the San Antonio-based Texas Is Funny label, Logan should expand on Vetter Kids' bloodthirsty mingling of  punk and post-hardcore. Thanks to Brooklyn Vegan, the first taste of the record, "Chlorine Dream," is streaming below.

Having played in SA/ATX bands like Sohns, Brother/Ghost, God Townes and Yes, Inferno, the members of Vetter Kids have had plenty of experience to hone in on a gritty punk aesthetic all their own. "We have collectively played in all kinds of bands, but we are bonded by the idea that punk is really, for us, an aesthetic, a way of life, and not just a style," guitarist and vocalist Marcos Gossi told the Current in May. That’s the idea that brings us together, the idea we sacrifice for, the idea that has kinda taken over our lives.”
