With a history making, record shattering No. 1 hit ( signature big girl anthem “All About That Bass,) nearly one billion hits on YouTube and racking up countless nominations and awards,  21-year-old breakout pop star Meagan Trainor has accomplish more than most do in a lifetime. Seriously, you know you've made it when Kidz Bop does a cover of your song, even though it  sounds more like their bringing "anal back" instead of booty.

While boasting about bringing “booty back,” singer-songwriter Trainor is also resurrecting doo-wop, giving the vintage style a major update on several of her Billboard top five hits. It doesn't matter if you find “All About That Bass” empowering and body positive or sexist, we can all agree that it’s as infectious as modern pop can be. Let's just say there will be plenty of booties shaking down the aisles. Who knows, maybe Trainor will pay tribute to the Alamo City by performing the Spurs-themed cover "All About My Spurs."

Tickets go on sale at the Tobin Center Friday, March 20, at 10 a.m. The concert will take place Thursday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Tobin Center.
