If you have daydreams of downing fancy cocktails while being serenaded by string ensembles, your incredibly specific fantasy is about to become a reality.

On Thursday, May 19, The Musicians of the San Antonio Symphony (MOSAS) will play the Dorćol Distilling Company (1902 S. Flores St.), a young, up-and-coming business celebrated for its apricot liqueur, among other distillery-specific concoctions. While doors open at 8 p.m., the party starts as SA Symphony Concertmaster Eric Gratz "masterfully" leads a small string ensemble through Vivaldi’s Concerti and Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings from 9 to 9:30 p.m.

Along with some classy jams, the evening promises visual artists, a convenient food truck and the unveiling of a brand-new, top-secret “MOSAS Cocktail."

The $10 cover will also include entry into a raffle for two Symphony tickets – being cultured has never been so cheap!

MOSAS' goal, aside from enriching the lives of San Antonio's symphony appreciators, is to bridge the city's growing culinary and mixology scenes with the musical, reaching new heights outside of their Tobin Center base in the process.
