From photographing local bands and artists to debuting his own music last year at Paper Tiger (and opening for the Queen of Bounce Big Freedia), to hosting his own entertainment talk show podcast, Wayne Holtz’s hustle is dizzying to say the least. And if you haven’t had the opportunity to see one of his aforementioned shows you’re definitely missing out on one of the most entertaining displays of showmanship the St. Mary’s Strip has ever seen.
This Friday, August 4, the performer will be releasing an updated version of his EP Post-Plexi, which came out last year on his Bandcamp page but will also feature the bass-forward sex jam “Bored on the Dance Floor” as well as two previously unreleased interludes. CDs will be available for purchase.
Voodoo Boogaloo, the canyon lake mystics who channel psychedelic energy through their trip hop, rap, and soul music, will also be making an appearance.
