Botánica Music & Arts Festival Cuts Down to One Day, Loses Major Lazer + More

Yup, it’s true … Major Lazer, along with Bishop Briggs and Blackbear, will no longer be performing at the inaugural Botánica Music & Arts Festival following a revised schedule.

The event, originally set to take place at the Six Flags Fiesta Texas parking lot on March 3 and 4, will now only be one day (March 3). Along with this change, festival goers will now have full access to the park, according to an announcement on the fest’s Facebook page.

In response to the Facebook post, users questioned what this means for those who purchased two-day passes. Botánica responded: “Everyone who purchased a ticket prior to [January 2] will be getting an email with options that allow them multiple options of what they can do with their previously purchased tickets, which include both refunds and additional free tickets.”

At least we can ride the rides now while listening to Deftones? OK.
