Facebook, Olivia Newton-John
Yasssss. Olivia Newton-John has just announced that she’ll be headed to San Antonio and we’re pretty stoked about it, because Grease, duh.
The four-time Grammy award-winning singer, actress and community activist will make an appearance at the Majestic Theatre on March 23. We hope she’ll be bustin’ out a few Grease tunes as well as '80s anthems "Physical" and "Twist of Fate."
Not only has Newton-John pumped out the hits, she also has held many humanitarian and environmental causes close to her heart. Olivia served as Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations Environment Programme, was the co-founder of Children’s Health Environmental Coalition (now Healthy Child, Healthy World), and, in 1992, created National Tree Day in Australia, which has since planted more than 10 million trees. Most recently she co-founded One Tree Per Child, an international school initiative with the goal of having every child under the age of ten plant at least one tree (dawwww).
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 2 at 10am and will be available at the Majestic Theatre Box Office, online at ticketmaster.com
, or charge by phone at (800) 745-3000. All tickets subject to applicable service charges and fees.
