Get Your Fix of '90s Alt-Rock at the Everclear, Marcy Playground Show in New Braunfels

  • Paul Brown
You’re a goddamned liar if you didn’t absolutely love Marcy Playground’s “Sex and Candy” when it was in steady rotation on that radio back the ’90s (if you were alive back then).

As a good-for-nothing millennial, the song’s now iconic title lyrics sort of forced us then-middle-schoolers to think about what sex, well, smelled like. In what seems to be an appropriately stacked bill with “Father of Mine” singer’s Everclear and Local H, who are best known for their alt-rock ’90s hit “Bound for the Floor.”

If you dig all things ’90s rock – we’re looking at you, SA – this is probably a show you won’t want to miss.

$20-$299, Fri May 18, 6pm, River Road Icehouse, 1791 Hueco Springs Loop Rd., New Braunfels.
