R. Kelly was slammed with a lawsuit on Monday, filed by a Texas woman who alleges that the rapper assaulted her after meeting at his concert in San Antonio last March.

Faith A. Rodgers filed a lawsuit in a Manhattan court, which claims that she met Kelly when she was 19 in March 2017. After his San Antonio concert, the two kept in contact and Kelly even flew her out to New York a few months later. It was in New York that Rodgers alleges that Kelly "initiated unwanted sexual contact," including "non-consensual oral and vaginal intercourse."

Rodgers also said that Kelly didn't tell her that he has herpes and that he transmitted the virus to her. Not disclosing that information is a criminal act.

The woman stayed in an abusive relationship with Kelly for more than a year and enduring "behavior designed to humiliate, embarrass, intimate and shame her." Rodger's lawsuit also claims that he would record her during sex without her consent and would keep her secluded from other in order to control her.

Rodgers' lawsuit comes after numerous allegations against the rapper. Most recently, claims of imprisonment of young women in order to join a "sex cult" have surfaced following the pivotal #MeToo movement.

Kelly has denied these claims.

Rodgers' attorney Lydia C. Hills told Billboard that "This behavior of Mr. Kelly's is not new, so it shouldn't come as a surprise for anyone. But our ultimate goal is getting justice for her."
