On the morning of July 20, 2017, Chester Bennington was found dead and it shook the world. Even if you weren’t a fan of the music, it’s hard to deny the impact Bennington and Linkin Park made in the very early 2000s, perfecting the close-to-becoming-trite genre of rap/rock or numetal.

What was crazier was they were gearing up for a North American tour that would hit San Antonio barely a month after the lead singer’s passing.

This past June, Bennington’s vocal partner rapper Mike Shinoda released a solo record aptly titled Post Traumatic. It’s obviously pretty intense and actually hard to listen to without getting emotional.

On tour in support of Post Traumatic, Shinoda is headed to the House of Blues in Dallas on Sunday, October 28. And although the rapper isn’t headed to SA, fans can at least plan a trip to the big D.

Tickets go on sale starting Friday, August 10th at 10am local time at mikeshinoda.com and outbreakpresents.com, with special pre-sales starting Tuesday, August 7th at 10am.
