Technical, heavy and groovy as fuck, Nahaya harnesses all the best parts of metalcore and lets those textures shine throughout their latest EP, Transcendence, released last summer. While our metal tastes at the office are pretty inclusive, we were really thrown off (in a good way) by the catchiness and solid production of their single “At Work with Fire.”

Lucky you and us, the band is performing at the Amp Room the first week of the year. Alongside folks like Realm of Disgust and Death Will Tremble, Nahaya proves that San Antonio acts are continuing to push metal on through the decades.
