Krisanne Frost, a local artist and the former owner of Zara Gallery, is back in business again with 124 Contemporary, a new gallery that opens tonight, Sept. 17, with an "Art Synergy Evening." The inaugural show presents light-box photography by Jenelle Esparza, a recent UTSA grad, and sculpture by  veteran artists Gudjon Bjornason, Greg Elliott, Tommy Gregory, Jake Zollie Harper III,  Sean FitzGibbons and Missi Smith.

The exhibition/party runs from 6 to 9pm at 124 Biering Ave. with art, live music by Ken Little and  treats. Zollie Glass Studio  joins the evening's affair with an open house and a tasting at at the end of the block, 1428 S. Presa. For more info call (210) 382-1154
