Founded in 2013 by Amanda Bartlett as a means to highlight the perspective of local artists that identify as female, the 60-member Sweet Peach Collective champions an irreverent, street-smart aesthetic. SPCs latest offering (a multi-sensory showcase of 28 artists) opens Saturday, July 5 at High Wire Arts (7pm-midnight at 326 W Josephine) with a reception featuring live music by Saakred, Pussywillows, Pink Leche, Wholly Vible and Jessica & the Pajama Blues.
