Tuesday, January 7: It's oyster season at Central Market. The staff and a representative from the Texas Parks and Wildlife will guide participants through game management, fishing, shucking oysters and sauteing the perfect trout. Wednesday, January 8: A new year means new beer to sample during the Hangar Tavern’s monthly beer tasting. The lineup includes brews from Mississippi Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, FullSail Brewing Company, Abita, Ranger Creek, Founders and Harpoon Brewing.
