5 Places To Get Your Cinco De Mayo On

This Cinco de Mayo if you haven't found anything else to do, we've got your back with a couple places in mind.


Celebrate the day with $5 cocktails at NAO (312 Pearl Pkwy). They have your back if you're looking for a place to have some drinks tonight. The special will include five specialty cocktails for $5 each for five hours, 5:00 - 10:00 p.m.. These cocktails include Amarillo Punch, New York to Lima, Rio Caribe, The Entrance and Niños Heroes. Each of these are handcrafted with delicious blends of fruit juices, Peruvian Pisco, Venezuelan Rum and, of course, tequila.

ICE Lounge

ICE Lounge (5545 NW Loop 410, Suite 116) is celebrating Cinco de Mayo tonight as well with $0.75 Tuesday. It'll be just $0.75 all night for wells and draft. Plus no cover! They will also have a huge cash balloon drop, bikini contest, and $50 Patron bottles all night long.  

El Mirador

El Mirador (722 S. St. Mary's) is having their Puro Cinco de Mayo party tonight at 6 p.m. Join them for food and drink specials, complimentary bites, and accordion jams by Los Diferentes Del Norte. Their drink specials include $4 frozen margaritas and diablos, $4 shot of tequila and mezcal and $6 caguamas of Sol and Carta Blanca.

Mezcalería Mixtli

Another place you might want to consider trying tonight is the newly opened Mezcaleria Mixtli (5313 McCullough Ave.). You can join them to celebrate the Mexican victory over France with Mexican and French food from chef Diego Galicia. This includes tostadas, mussels and a their launch of botanas and snack. They will have drink specials as well that include $5 Ti' Punch, Watermelon Margaritas and Palomas and $3 Modelos all night long.

 The Last Word

Get down to The Last Word (229 E. Houston, Suite 10) tonight for they Big Give SA event. They will be contributing $3 of every Southtown Swizzle cocktail that is sold during the hours of the Big Give (which ends at midnight tonight) to SA2020. Be sure to make them a stop to help support SA2020's #GIVE2020 campaign and have some fun this Cinco de Mayo.
