A new year means new beer to sample during the Hangar Tavern’s monthly beer tasting. The lineup includes brews from Mississippi Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, FullSail Brewing Company, Abita, Ranger Creek, Founders and Harpoon Brewing. Thursday, January 9
The staff at Sur La Table will show attendees how to prepare classic desserts including a crème brûlée, chocolate lava cake, Meyer lemon soufflé and a pearl and almond tart. Tuesday, January 14 The San Antonio Cocktail Conference is kicking off the festivities with a Macallan Scotch whiskey dinner at Biga on the Banks. Another new event to the cocktail bacchanal is the addition of a Herradura Tequila feast at the Mariachi Bar at Mi Tierra Café & Bakery.
