The San Fernando Cathedral in downtown San Antonio is the oldest operating Catholic sanctuary in the United States. Nestled in Main Plaza, the church blossoms into a remarkable and colorful infusion of old and new worlds. Every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at 9, 9:30 and 10, San Antonio|The Saga, a 24-minute video, splashes across the church's facade. French artist Xavier De Richemont's saga tells the story of discovery, settlement and development of San Antonio.
