Nothing says date night quite like dinner and a movie. Rest assured, all you terrible planners, we've got the movie half of your night covered with this list of romantic films to watch around town this Valentine's Day. Dinner is still up to you, though we do have a few suggestions.

Maybe you should give us credit when your valentine thanks you for the wonderful evening we planned for the two of you, sheesh.

Pretty Woman
Ah, Julia Roberts, you were the cutest, most charming prostitute America ever laid eyes on. Too bad Richard Gere totally skeeves up this movie. Barney, the well-meaning hotel manager, is the real hero of this story. Boys, please try to be more like Barney. Your sweethearts will appreciate it. Pretty Woman will be playing at several Alamo Drafthouse locations. Click here for details.

Dirty Dancing
Isn’t it every girl’s dream to do that move with a guy? That big move where Jennifer Grey runs and jumps and Patrick Swayze totally catches her with his big man arms and lifts her into the air? Well, at Alamo Drafthouse you can at least sing along while this move is executed, and you pretend it was really you that had the time of your life. Click here for showtimes.

Moulin Rouge!
Coming after Romeo + Juliet but before The Great Gatsby, Baz Luhrmann’s musical Moulin Rouge! tells the story of the ill-fated cabaret singer Satine and her newfound, grossly romantic lover Christian. Nicole Kidman is at her least robotic as Satine and Ewan McGregor is as handsome as ever as Christian. Watch this one if you want your valentine to cry a lot. Moulin Rouge! will be playing at several Alamo Drafthouse locations. Click here for details.
