Let's be real – San Antonio housing is having a moment, for a variety of reasons. The Alamo City was recently named one of the best places to live in America. Growth in Bexar County is insane, and had the seventh largest population growth in the entire country in 2017. There's no denying that people are moving here, on top of the San Antonians already here moving around.

Then comes the housing crisis.

Property values across Bexar County have risen considerably, meaning higher taxes. This has forced long-time homeowners out of their home and potential home-buyers to search in older, less well-to-do neighborhoods.

But that's not to say it's impossible to find affordable housing here in San Antonio. Whether you're a soon-to-be home buyer or just browsing the market, these homes are certainly worth checking out. Good luck!
