A Secluded Home for Sale Outside San Antonio Looks Like a Cult Leader's Compound

Maybe it's our overactive imaginations — or it could the secluded location, in-house chapel and kitchen that could feed a small army — but something about this two-story home northwest of San Antonio strikes us as vaguely cultish.

As in it might make a good base of operations for a cult leader.

Think about it. The place is located in the tiny town of Mico and surrounded by 15 acres of open space. It's got five bedrooms and 4,800 square feet to accommodate loyal followers. And there's even a long, narrow library that sure looks like it could be made into a secret room.

Of course, the $738,000 property will probably serve a far less sinister purpose — namely becoming a large family's country home. After all, it does have a frontiersey decorating panache, and the homespun woodwork is cute too.

But, hey, let us humor ourselves with our dark fantasies. And feel free to take a look around so you can make up your own storyline.
