Although Alamo City Comic Con organizers had to reschedule their regular 2017 comic con event from September to earlier this year in May, it wasn’t about to let the fall season pass without throwing a family-friendly Halloween party for San Antonio horror fans to enjoy. The con’s Halloween edition is an offshoot event founder and director Apple de la Fuente conjured up for the ACCC brand this year. Special guests for this version include the original Freddy Krueger himself Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Chris Sarandon (Fright Night, The Princess Bride) and Ronee Blakley (A Nightmare on Elm Street), who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Robert Altman’s 1975 classic Nashville. ACCC’s Halloween Edition will also feature a “Miss GOREgeous” pageant, fortune telling, magicians, a freak show, tattoo expo, plenty of exhibitors and much more.
