The runoff election for the Alamo Colleges' District 4 and 8 board of trustees has been moved from June 14 to June 21.

Alamo Colleges had to switch things up when the Bexar County Elections Department, under requirement by the Secretary of State, was advised to move its runoff election to no earlier than June 16 and no later than July 5, according to the Colleges. While voting sites for election day are the same as before, early voting spots for the runoff election have changed (but they can be found on the Alamo Colleges' web site.)

Early voting takes place Monday, June 9 through Saturday, June 14 and Monday, June 16-Tuesday, June 17.

Lorraine Pulido, who serves as COSA's public relations manager, faces business leader for the Lighthouse charter school, Albert Herrera, for a spot on District 4. And middle school teacher Clint Kingsbery, a critic of the community colleges' current leadership, garnered a lead over incumbent Gary Beitzel but couldn't muster enough votes to oust the incumbent from his District 8 seat— both candidates square off in June.
