Aldaco's at the Dominion Closing to Make Way for La Fogata

It's the ol' Mexican restaurant switcheroo. (That's a thing, right?)

Blanca Aldaco, owner of Aldaco's Mexican Cuisine, has announced Aldaco's at the Dominion will close this Sunday, November 12. Service that day will run 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

But the area won't be devoid of Mexican cuisine for long. In its place, Patrick Richardson of Silo Restaurant Group, will open a second La Fogata location this December, according to Aldaco.

"I'm going to focus on Stone Oak, that's not going anywhere," said Aldaco over the phone. Aldaco's Mexican Cuisine has been in San Antonio since 1989, first in St. Paul's Square, then with a second location in Stone Oak in 2008 and finally the Dominion, which opened in 2014.
