Oh, the reverberating darkness and the stifling pain! If you’re like us and are living for this recent post-punk revival, then Death Bells most certainly needs to be on your sad mijo/mija playlist.

Hailing from Sydney, this six-piece combines all the classic stylings from your favorite post-punk groups like Joy Division, Tears for Fears and Depeche Mode, but add a touch of shoegaze and contemporary indie elements to keep it fresh.

If you missed them at South By Southwest earlier this year, here’s your chance to catch one of the most promising up-and-coming acts in the genre.

$10-$12, Sat Nov. 3, 7pm, Paper Tiger, 2410 N. St. Mary’s St., papertigersatx.com.
