In support of her latest album To The Sunset, singer/songwriter/violinist Amanda Shires is headed to Gruene Hall for a performance on Friday, January 25.

On top of garnering praise from Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone Country and Paste Magazine, Shires won the Americana Music Associations’ Emerging Artist Of The Year award in 2016. A quick listen to her music will explain why.

In the age of over-production and autotune, Shires manages to harness the rustic essence of Americana while wrapping it with enough pop textures to feel modern yet easily accessible.
