comment
Release Date: 2008-02-27

San Antonio native Emma Tenayuca was a pioneering activist who focused on the disparity between rich and poor and issues affecting laborers and migrant workers. She’s often left out of history books and lists of local heroes, so the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center and Our Lady of the Lake University have joined forces to tell her story. $5, 8pm Fri-Sat, Esperanza Peace & Justice Center, 922 San Pedro (210) 228-0201.
