For the sixth-annual Musica en la Calle, Hotel Havana will once again turn its parking lot into a mini-music festival, creating an ideal winter’s evening under the stars.

Along with artisan vendors and an impressive food and drink menu (provided by Ocho at Hotel Havana), Musica en la Calle, hosted this time by DJ Steven Lee Moya and Puro Pinche, will as the name implies feature performances from a rather eclectic collection of local bands. Los Nahuatlatos, for starters, will offer up its signature and high-energy blend of hip-hop, soul, jazz, rock and various Latin music styles. Henry + The Invisibles, a longtime one-man funk wrecking crew, will also be on hand to spread his open-hearted brand of joy via music to make peace to. Rounding out the lineup are King Pelican and Las Coronelas, who play wild and jazzy surf music and classic mariachi tunes respectively.

Free, Fri Dec. 14, 6pm-11pm, Hotel Havana, 1015 Navarro St., havanasanantonio.com.
