"Are You Listening to Me?" examines the unspoken influences sharing a life together can have on the creative process. Collaborating for years, Lindsey Maestri and Cody Arnall have moved across state lines five times, lived in eight homes together, but never shared a studio. Using the gallery space as a vehicle to explore the dialogue between their work -- their use of human and animal bodies as subject matter and themes of life and death -- the exhibition will feature sculptures created individually by the duo, with Maestri’s pieces based mainly on craft materials while Arnal incorporates digital projection, light, and sound.
