What do Britney Spears, Miss Piggy, and Andy Warhol have in common? No, not their ability to rock platinum wigs — they all have a perfume of their own. Warhol posthumously joins the ranks of socialites, pop stars, and Muppet royalty with his all-new fragrance “Silver Factory,” the first in a series of Warhol-inspired perfumes by New York’s Bond no. 9 (a fragrance collection dedicated to all things New York).

The 3.4 ounce bottle is going for $230. Not that big of a dent to your wallet, but still ... purchasing this scent would certainly place you in the obsessed — Warholite category. The perfume goes on sale next month, just in time for the holiday season.

The website for Bond no. 9 describes the fragrance as “a smooth, smoky, spicy blend of interlacing incense (a key scent of the ’60s `ha!`), wood resin, cedarwood, and syrupy, seductive amber.” There’s also a hint of violet — an aroma that Warhol was especially fond of. Here’s hoping it won’t smell like a log-cabin version of Studio 54.

If you decide to purchase the perfume, visit Bond
no. 9’s website for more info at It’s no soup can, but it’ll surely be an ideal conversation starter at your office Christmas party.
