In celebration of San Antonio’s Tricentennial, globally significant Ballet Folklórico of Mexico returns to the Alamo City to perform as part of ARTS San Antonio's 2018-2019 season. Dancer, choreographer and historian Amalia Hernández’s 76-member troupe gloriously and authentically brings to life the stirring music, swirling dance and beautiful costumes of Mexico, from primitive pre-Columbian rites to the sweeping choreography of the regency, colonial, revolutionary and modern eras.
