Beer & Bad Sweaters: Freetail Hosts 'Christmas Vacation' Movie Night

Were ugly sweaters still worn unironically in 1989? - FANPOP.COM
  • Were ugly sweaters still worn unironically in 1989?
How many wears can you get out of your ugly holiday sweater this month? Do you get your sweater dry cleaned if you spill beer on it, or does that add to its ugly charm? What exactly makes it the ugliest sweater? You can find out the answers to these questions during Freetail Taproom's (2000 S. Presa St.) next movie night on Thursday, December 17 at 8:30 p.m.

The funky beer-haven will screen the 1989 classic of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, you know back when Chevy Chase was super cool and good-looking and not yet overtly racist, and Randy Quaid was still allowed in the U.S. That one. The evening will include an ugly sweater contest with fun and exclusive prices (think special releases and such) going to the top three winners.
