WINNER: Stars and Garters Burlesque
> This wild gang of stripteasers is no stranger to Best of San Antonio, nabbing the title four years in a row for their retro-themed shows that feature a mix of classic vaudeville, burlesque routines, send-ups and special guests. Now in its eighth season, the troupe recently shimmied over to the silver screen with The Film Strip, an evening that combined live entertainment with an exclusive screening of the Leslie Zemeckis documentary Behind the Burly Q. One thing's for sure, the Alamo City's longest-running burlesque troupe only gets better with age, and with the combined talents of '60s siren Suki Jones, "The Transoceanic Tropical Tease" Black Orchid, the fiery bad girl Pystol Whips, sweet Coco Simone, the "pick up artist" team of the sultry Miss Lucky Strike and trained dancer Candy Cane, not to mention "sassy stage manager" Squirrely Temple, the 2016 season is sure to be its steamiest yet.
