You’ve heard of Tiki Tuesdays but now The Brooklynite (516 Brooklyn) is having an all out luau party on Tuesday, June 2 at 9 p.m. Tiki Tuesday drink specials will be going all night and floral leis will be given out for the first fifteen guests. BKSA will also be selling their new tiki tees to go with that grass skirt. The bar doesn't open until 9 p.m. so don’t show up too early and as always, food trucks will be there serving up some boozy bites. Tailgate Bistro USA will do a roast pig for the festivities.

Get a taste of the far east with Chef David Gilbert of Tuk Tuk Tap Room (1702 Broadway) with a culinary tour farm dinner inspired by Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar. On Sunday, June 8 at 5 p.m. diners will have a three-course family-style dinner of fresh local produce, grass-fed meats and sustainable seafood with beer, wine and kombucha pairings. Tickets are $95 per adult and $50 for children under 12. Call (210) 722-5077 for reservations.
