Centro Cultural Aztlan has produced and presented the annual Segundo de Febrero exhibit since 1978 in an effort to preserve Mexican American history and culture. The inspiration for this year’s show—Borrando Fronteras—is the lasting effects of the broken treaty, especially the creation of new borders and the lasting effects it has had. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 6:00-9:00pm and includes light refreshments, music by El Tallercito de Son, Juan y Armando Tejeda, plus a special ethno-drama by Los Inocentes showcasing the life of Juana Navarro. Free and open to the entire community.
