Brazil's Epic Metal Act Angra to Stop In San Antonio Next Month

On the heels of their latest album ØMNI – which marks their ninth record – Angra is returning to the states with a stop in San Antonio at the Rock Box on Tuesday, October 9.

Hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, the band has seen a number of lineup changes, but that hasn’t stopped these dudes from delivering a mix of thrash-, power-, and prog-metal that’s carved a huge fan base for the group especially in Japan and Europe since their formation in 1991.

While they definitely lean more toward old-school textures, especially with their vocals, anyone who appreciates some technical shredding is gonna dig these guys.
