When: Tue., Oct. 11, 6:30-7:30 p.m. 2016
Join us for lively discussion on great works of fiction and non-fiction inspired by the vast and varied experiences of the American West. We meet at 6:30pm the second Tuesday of every month in the Clingman Education Gallery at the Briscoe Museum. Erdrich’s novel chronicles the life of Father Damien Modeste- a priest on an Ojibwe reservation in North Dakota in the early 1900s- and a Vatican-issued inquiry that threatens to reveal a secret. Guest facilitator Ann Bliss, Assistant Professor of English, Texas A&M, San Antonio.
