Whip out your journal and pen and start scratching. I'm looking for short pieces of around 500 words -- it can certainly be a little longer than that, but that's the general guideline. See my introduction for more information and for some fantastic examples check out Flash Fiction: Very Short Stories, the new Norton Anthology called Hint Fiction, Micro Fiction, the newest version of the Sudden Fiction series called Sudden Fiction Latino or any number of other titles that have exploded onto the scene in recent years. Send your submissions to flashfiction@sacurrent.com and I will respond before or just after the beginning of March. I look forward to reading your work.
