For the fourth installment of “Canciones,” a swell concert series that celebrates the music of San Antonio and is hosted in the delightful confines of beautiful Pearl Park, Demitasse and Nicolette Good will perform their own and SA/South Texas tunes that are near and dear to their hearts.

Demitasse is a side project from Erik Sanden and Joe Reyes of local indie-rock treasure Buttercup. The duo’s one album Blue Medicine (which you should totally listen to at demitasse.bandcamp.com) is a masterful, heartbreaking, and multifaceted rumination on love and loss, colored with the most unexpected hues of humor and healing light.

Nicolette Good, meanwhile, is a noted country/folk singer-songwriter with three solid albums to her credit. We particularly liked her stubbornly hopeful 2015 release Little Boat on a Wave. Check Good out over at nicolettegood.com.

Free, Friday, September 29, 5:30-8:30pm, Pearl Park at The Historic Pearl, 200 E. Grayson St., atpearl.com.
