Closed: Tony Parker's Nueve Lounge

There you have it; posted on the bar's website. (Courtesy)

Nueve Lounge, we hardly knew ye. Talk about a quiet goodbye. The bar owned by Spurs guard Tony Parker has shuttered. Formerly located at 23535 IH-10 W, Ste 1101, the bar was a hang out for wannabe Spurs wives and former basketball players as noted in the Current's write-up last August.

The bar's Facebook offered a hint as to why they closed on July 27:

The time has come, San Antonio: All good things must come to an end. Nueve Lounge officially closed our doors this past Saturday night and we want to thank everyone who came and supported us in this endeavor. We had a great time making memories with you and will always remember them.

Were you a fan of the bar? Do you miss it? Tell us your favorite memory of Nueve Lounge in the comments below.
