Community Book Brunch Reading

When: Sat., Oct. 3, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. 2015

There will be a community book brunch during banned book week. It will be a space to share your favorite banned books. The Book Brunch is a communal space that promotes literacy through the sharing of stories with an emphasis on cultural, political, and social consciousness. The Underground Library also houses multicultural books that were banned from Tucson Unified School District in an effort to ban Mexican American Studies.
