After some eight years in business, Cool Cafe (12651 Vance Jackson, Ste 108) has closed its doors. The restaurant had two locations in San Antonio, both of which have shuttered, after a brief stint downtown inside Hotel Havana.

Gone is the hookah lounge/Mediterranean crepe provider, but Kogi Korean Grill (210) 558-2018) opened just over three weeks ago in its place. The menu has starters, rice and noodle bowls, obligatory bulgogi and something called Gangnam style street tacos.  The restaurant also carries several kimchi varieties including spicy kimchi, cucumber kimchi, turnip kimchi and tofu kimchi.

Lunch is served 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; regular business hours are 10:45 am-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 10:45 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
