Don’t miss your last chance in 2006 to dance and drink on the Current’s dime, 7-10 p.m. Friday, November 10, in Triangle Project Space. The Filipino Fist and DJPK will light the fire, Dewar’s Scotch Whiskey is pouring along with Bud Light, Herding Cats wine and Vitamin Water and snacks will be served. Bid on the last set of collectible photo prints of Current covers — this round features our best music covers from 20 years: The Fist, Buttercup, seminal punk rocker Jeff Smith, Sexto Sol’s Sam Varela, Joe King Carrasco, and more.

Triangle Project Space is a stunning converted warehouse located in the heart of South Flores’s contemporary-art district. Follow S. Flores to E. LaChapelle; turn left; TPS is at the end of the block on the righthand corner.

Escape to the silver screen with your free alternative weekly paper as we celebrate 20 years of keepin’ it real in San Antonio with four free movie nights. Guests can pick their flick, then sit back and relax as a rotating program of vintage cartoons and shorts play before the film. The Drafthouse waitstaff is available to serve a full menu of dinner and drinks (for purchase) to your seat while you watch the movie. Plus win free stuff, from movie swag to gift certificates to limited edition 20th anniversary San Antonio Current paraphernalia.
