Deathcore Outfit Through the Eyes Of the Dead Swinging By Paper Tiger

Honestly, the genre of deathcore may have had a longer life-span if it hadn’t come at the tail end of metal-core’s popularity. Grinding blast beats and shrieks escaping model-esque frontmen was sort of becoming … tired, even though the technicality of the musicianship was top-notch.

Through the Eyes Of the Dead, however, has outlasted the trendiness of the genre, and continued to evolve despite the waning popularity. With four full-length albums, one EP, and one split album with The Knife Trade, the band’s influences (Morbid Angel, Blood Has Been Shed, Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, Meshuggah, Behemoth and At the Gates) are a tell-tale sign of why they’re one of the best metal bands still ripping today.
