When: Sat., July 9, 6:30-8 p.m. 2016
Novelist Debra Monroe will read from her memoir My Unsentimental Education, which explores the confusion that ensues when a working-class girl ends up far from where she began. Both the story of her steady rise into the professional class and a parallel history of unsuitable exes, this memoir reminds us how accidental even a good life can be. The evening will also feature a reading by local author Georgia Erck. Free and open to all.
