District 4 Councilman Releases Most Puro Fiesta Medal Yet

Medal fanatics are going to want this one.

District 4 Councilman Rey Saldaña posted is 2016 Fiesta medal to his Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon and it features all things San Anto. Made up of Big Red, a pound of barbacoa, an avocado half and green salsa (natch), Saldaña's medal also includes the boastful title of "Best Barbacoa in Town." The medal was designed by staff member and policy analyst Rosana Galaviz with pointers by Saldaña, and manufactured by Prestigious Mark.

You can get your own on Thursday, April 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Saldaña's offices (5102 Old Pearsall Road). Quantities are limited so get there early.
