Not content with hosting one event during Cinco de Mayo, Dorcol Distilling Company (1902 S. Flores St., 210-229-0607) will throw two very different shindigs and if you plan your evening correctly, you could potentially do both.

Chocolate lovers will want to join the the distillery and brewery at Hotel Emma (136 E. Grayson St.) for a meet and greet with chef Katherine Clapner of Dallas-based Dude, Sweet Chocolate from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. inside Emma's lobby.  The chocolatier has paired the award-winning Kinsman Rakia with dark chocolate morsels and rolled the whole bit in French waffle cone pieces to create the Praska Truffle. Stop by for a cocktail hour, sample the truffle and meet with distillers Chris Mobley.

Not into sweets? Dorcol will host the second installment of Keep SA Real's Music for Advanced Listeners at the distillery with music selected by Labkids and DJ Novasoul & Darby from 8 p.m. to midnight. Bring an appetite as Pinch Crawfish Kitchen will be serving up their signature Vietnamese-style crawfish boil. $10 gets you a pound with sides (sausage, corn, potatoes, all of which you'll want to douse in that garlicky sauce) while $15 gets you a pound of mudbugs and sides plus a bottled Kinsman cocktail.
