Students describe how habitat surveys provide important baseline information to guide wildlife management decisions. They apply field methodologies reflecting wildlife management practices. Students estimate population density of deer in a given area by counting deer pellet groups and tracks. This class is part of the Spring Bloomer Series for students 10-14 years old.
