Empty The Tanks 2017
Empty the Tanks Worldwide, launched in April 2013, continues to expand with over 65 locations in 2017 for the 5th annual Empty The Tanks. Empty the Tanks is not advocating the demise of the SeaWorld business as a whole, but the demise of their use and profit off animals who, in captivity, suffer an extensive range of issues not found in their wild counterparts. They advocate the retirement of captive dolphins and whales to natural sea-pens where those who are proper candidates for release can be rehabilitated and returned to the wild.
